These soft, flexible material Maternity Belly Bars with a Star, Circle or Heart shaped bottom gem are great for wearing during your pregnancy as this body jewellery will flex as your bump grows. The medical-grade PTFE and Bioflex material is even safe to wear during your ultrasound scans. Supplied at 18mm, they can be easily shortened using scissors or a sharp knife. The top jewelled ball can then be threaded back on.
There are 2 international standards for autoclaving Bioflex:
1. Temperature 121 Degrees Celsius at pressure 15 pounds per square inch for 15 minutes.
2. Temperature 134 Degrees Celsius at pressure 32 pounds per square inch for 3 minutes.
Exceeding this can result in deformation.
NB: You cannot sterilise Bioflex in a dry heat autoclave. You need a steam sterilisation process with water.

What if the body jewellery doesn't fit my piercing?
We send all of our jewellery out in a clear sealed hygiene bag. So long as the bag is unopened, you can exchange it.
